We currently have seven Mini Nubian males; two intact adult males, two intact bucklings and three wethers. What sets our bucks apart from the others in our area? Back in 2018, we purchased a spectacular, high quality buck from Washington. So, we have some "out of state" genetics in our herd.
An (*) next to the goat's name, indicates it's for sale.
Friendly Feathers' Tater
5th generation. Polled.
Born: 3/13/2020
This guy is quite a character. He's a sweet boy even when he's in rut. We just love his brown/ white markings and long beard.
Friendly Feathers' Mr. Pretty Boy*
5th generation.
Born: 3/11/2021
Pretty Boy was just that as a kid. He's now grown into a handsome buck and is as they say, "a chip of the old block". He looks just like his sire and his grand sire before him; just a smaller version. Lucky for us!
Friendly Feathers Gunga and Din*
6th generation
Born: 4/2022
Two adorable twin brothers that are maturing quickly. Both are very friendly. Gunga is on the right, Din on the left. Tater (first photo above) is their sire. Our doe Rhona is their dam.
Friendly Feathers' Beau*
One of our sweet wethers.
A wonderful companion animal.
Friendly Feathers' Mooney*
Another of our sweet, gentle wethers.
Penhail
The guy on the right.
A.K.A Penn. By far our largest "mini" Nubian.
He was an acquisition from R Half Pint Farm as a companion animal.
Laz E Acres Evan Almighty
Gone but not forgotten.
Sadly we lost Evan to a sudden illness in 2021. He was our prize 6th generation buck that came from Washington State. He had spectacular characteristics. However, his genetics live on in our herd. Rhona, Mr. Pretty Boy, Doja Goat, Dunga and Din are all offspring and great offspring.
